Why people try Doubo

Choose a download channel

Windows: Microsoft Store or portable ZIP. Android: signed APK preview. Apple: TestFlight beta; request an invitation if there is no public join link. Google Play is available.

Same playlist, same login

Re-enter your own authorized M3U link/file or Xtream Codes credentials in the native app. APTV settings, favorites, purchases and merged configurations are not imported. The web player has a separate, more limited feature set.

Program guide and catch-up

Doubo reads the XMLTV guide named in your playlist and replays past programs when the source supports catch-up.

Cast and control your TV

The Apple beta has DLNA casting and a TV remote implementation; iPhone/iPad discovery still depends on Apple’s multicast entitlement. These features are not in the current Android APK. Windows casting still needs real-TV validation.

Groups, search and favorites

Your provider’s groups become categories. Search thousands of channels and star the ones you watch.

No ads, no account

Playlist data stays on the device. Windows offers optional usage statistics with consent. See the privacy policy for each platform.

How to get started

  1. Find your playlist details

Use the M3U link or file you added to APTV, or the Xtream Codes server, username and password from your provider.

  2. Install Doubo

Choose Windows Store or ZIP, Google Play or Android APK, or the Apple TestFlight beta above. The web player is also available; features vary by platform.

  3. Add the playlist and watch

Re-enter your own authorized M3U link/file or Xtream Codes credentials in the native app. APTV settings, favorites, purchases and merged configurations are not imported. The web player has a separate, more limited feature set.

Try it in your browser first

Open the free web player and import a playlist link or file. CORS, HTTPS, codec, regional and provider restrictions can prevent playback; native apps also remain subject to source restrictions.

Questions

Is there an APTV app for Windows?

APTV’s official README lists Apple platforms only: iOS (with CarPlay), iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS, macOS and a visionOS beta. On a Windows PC you can use Doubo from the Microsoft Store, or its web player in any browser.

How do I move my playlists from APTV to Doubo?

Re-enter your own authorized M3U link/file or Xtream Codes credentials in the native app. APTV settings, favorites, purchases and merged configurations are not imported. The web player has a separate, more limited feature set.

Does Doubo work on Apple TV?

Doubo does not currently offer an Apple TV app or CarPlay playback. Its Apple beta has DLNA casting and TV remote features with platform restrictions; the current Android APK does not include them.

Does Doubo include channels?

No. Like APTV, Doubo is a player for playlists you add. It ships with no channels; only play content you are allowed to watch.

Can I use Doubo on Android?

Yes, on Android phones and tablets using the signed APK preview. Google Play is available. Skins, the persistent Now Playing entry, the in-app browser, improved full-screen/PiP and casting are not yet all aligned with the Apple app.

Can I transfer my APTV purchase or settings?

No. Doubo is a separate app. Add your own authorized playlist or provider login again; APTV purchases, app-specific settings and favorites do not transfer. A source that worked in another player is not guaranteed to work in every Doubo build.
